Meredith Ulmer serves as Assistant City Manager for the City of Rome. She has a variety of experience working in the public sector. Mrs. Ulmer has previously worked at the City of Cartersville in several different capacities, including: Code Enforcement, Deputy City Clerk, City Clerk, and Assistant City Planner. She has worked at the Division of Family and Children Services for the Department of Human Services and has taught American Government at Georgia Highlands College. Mrs. Ulmer also served as a Legislative Aide at the State Capitol for the 2013 Legislative Session.
Mrs. Ulmer attended Brenau University where she obtained her B.S. in Political Science. She was also a volleyball scholarship recipient and played volleyball all four seasons. After graduating from Brenau, she earned her Master of Public Administration Degree from Kennesaw State University.
